Guests say

The Yellow House in Padstow is a charming holiday home with a small garden, offering rural views and a quiet atmosphere. Its proximity to the town centre and local supermarket, along with on-site parking, make it a convenient base for exploring the area. Guests appreciate the property's cleanliness and the provision of necessary amenities, though some noted areas in need of maintenance.

Guests generally found the house to be clean, with fresh-smelling bedding and tidy spaces. However, some mentioned the presence of mould, which suggests room for improvement in this area.

The property is well-located, a short walk from the centre of Padstow and close to a supermarket. The uphill walk back is noted, but it is seen as an opportunity for exercise.

The house is considered ideal for small groups, with a cosy atmosphere. Some guests found the furniture and bedding less comfortable, with specific mention of thin pillows and a sofa.

The property is equipped with necessary kitchen facilities and a garden. However, guests have pointed out issues with maintenance, such as mould and a blown window, which detract from the overall experience.

There is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the host. Therefore, this category cannot be scored.

A cozy compact property with a small garden with patio. Very quiet with rural views. Parking space, good kitchen facilities, compact bathroom with shower. We enjoyed our stay despite the changeable weather.

This is a cute little house with its own parking. It’s quite a walk into Padstow and very hilly but it helps to keep the ice cream calories in check! The house is lovely and clean (the bedding smelt amazing as soon as I walked into the bedrooms) but very dated. There’s a lot of mould, especially on the bathroom ceiling and for the price of a week stay, it’s just not up to scratch. For me, the pillows were thin and I woke in neck pain every night despite using two or three to try and get some height. No Prosecco glasses or big frying pan but other than that, well appointed.Garden a little sun trap with lovely views but again, needs maintenance, over grown bushes get in the way of seating and the washing line.Is it worth the money? - no but that’s Padstow, the prices are crazy. Would I pick this house to go back to? - no not at that price.

Excellent position, only a few minutes walk into the centre, although it's a long uphill walk back!. Tesco a few minutes walk away as well so very handy. On site parking outside the door. Everything you need is provided, and the house itself is lovely. The two back bedrooms are a little small, okay for children only, but that's just how it is. Enjoyed our week their and would recommend.
