With beautiful views over open fields and woodland towards spectacular St Michael’s Mount in the distance, this romantic stone-built barn conversion is the ideal bolt-hole for a couple on a rural retreat. Conveniently located for exploring the delights of West Cornwall, spend your days enjoying gorgeous beaches, roaming picturesque towns and villages and relaxing on your private terrace in this idyllic countryside setting.
With thick stone walls and a homely interior, fall in love with this charming barn as soon as you enter through the doorway. Inside, discover contemporary finishes alongside hints of an agricultural past. The kitchen/diner is perfectly prepared to host meals for two with everything a chef could need. Curl up together on the plush sofa in the cosy living room after a day of adventure, or head outside to the private terrace and enjoy a sun-downer or two while taking in the far-reaching views over rolling fields against a backdrop of St Michael's Mount. When it comes time for bed, a welcoming double room with a king size bed promises a good night’s sleep with soft lighting and a peaceful ambience in this quiet rural location. A stylish shower room with a large double shower completes this wonderful home.
To enjoy both the coast and the country, the placement of this property couldn’t be better. Stroll the surrounding lanes and footpaths for glorious walks amongst nature. Stop off for a refresher at the village of Ludgvan’s welcoming pub (less than a mile) serving local ales and hearty dishes, or head to the coast (1.5 miles) for a day at Long Rock’s sand and shingle beach where you can also join the South West Coast Path for a walk along the rugged coastline. With a huge range of attractions and incredible natural beauty, it’s no surprise that Cornwall is such a firm holiday favourite. The fabulous beach of Praa Sands is 6 miles away, where you can try your hand at surfing and take on the waves, or for a more sedate day out, watch an outdoor performance at the breathtaking Minack Theatre (12 miles). Land’s End (12.5 miles) marks the most westerly point of mainland Britain, where the Atlantic rollers crash against towering cliffs, and the historic town of Penzance is 2.5 miles away, home to a fantastic range of shops and eateries boasting fresh regional produce.
