Plenty of walks are available for those seeking solitude, walkways past some of the UKs best coastal scenery. Penzance is the perfect base for beautiful Marazion, a wealth of sandy beaches and rocky coves.
The town of Penzance has winding streets, shops, clubs, restaurants and a harbour, from where you can enjoy day trips to the Scilly Isles. The South West Coast Path passes through Penzance on its way along the clifftops towards Lands End, and the National Trust owned St Michaels Mount with its hilltop castle and Mediterranean gardens is well worth visiting.
