This traditional home offers a cosy open-plan lounge and dining area, ideal for relaxing and socialising after a day of exploring. The well-equipped kitchen makes it easy to prepare home-cooked meals. On the ground floor, you’ll find a family bathroom, while upstairs there’s a separate toilet and three comfortable bedrooms. The enclosed front garden is ideal for children to run around, when they are tucked up in bed why not sit outside and watch the stunning night skies.
St Just, the most westerly town in mainland Britain, offers a unique blend of history, charm, and natural beauty. Just a short walk from Grace Cottage, you’ll find independent shops, cosy cafés and welcoming pubs, perfect for a relaxed Cornish experience. Only 1.7 miles away lies Cape Cornwall, home to Priests Cove and scattered with remnants of the region’s tin mining past. This Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is rich in wildlife, seals are a common sight, and if you’re lucky, you might even spot a basking shark. The dramatic coastal trails wind along the rugged cliffs, dotted with hidden caves once used by smugglers.
Lands’ End, the UK’s furthest point west, is just 4 miles away and a favourite with birdwatchers hoping to catch a glimpse of rare species. I booked Grace Cottage for a 2 week stay in March 2026.LocationSituated near the centre of St Just a short 2 or 3 minute walk from the shops and amenities.Thrre are some stunning walks down Cot Valley and to Cape Cornwalll on the doorstep too.ParkingThere is limited on road parking to the front of the cottage, but I chose to park in Lafrowda free car park which is a minutes walk ftom tbe back door.The CottageThe pictures really do not do the house justice. The kitchen and living room /dining area is very spacious, as is the kitchen which is supplied with everything you could need. There was also coffee, tea, milk, biscuits etc. kindly left for us.The bedrooms were all of ample size for a holiday and supplied with fresh towels and linen.There are showers and toilets both upstairs and down too.We didn't get the chance to sit out in the garden, but I would imagine it is a real sun trap in the Summer.The hostMark was very attentive and nothing was too much trouble and Anne the cleaner, who lived locally, was quick to answer any questions.All in all Grace cottage exceeded my expectations, I could not fault it and will definitely be returning.

We had a superb 10 day stay in this cosy cottage. The kitchen was spacious and well equipped and with local butchers and grocers nearby we enjoyed eating in.The bed was very comfortable with quality linen, the towels large and a good shower upstairs, we didn't use the spacious bath.The cottage has a pretty enclosed front garden, we hope to return.
