This spacious, semi-detached holiday property, located in an elevated position, with breathtaking views across the beautiful long sandy beach of Praa Sands and out to Mount Bay. There is a shared footpath to the family friendly sandy beach which has lifeguards on patrol during the summer months and is also enjoyed by surfers. For walks the Cornish Coastal footpath passes the property. Nearby are St Michael’s Mount, Marazion, Praa Sands golf course, Flambards at Helston, sailing, surfing and great coastal walks. Visit the quaint fishing harbour of Newlyn and Mousehole. Heading in land, the countryside offers wide open moorland, rolling hillsides and stunning granite headlands. Ideal for those who want to escape the crowds. Other attractions include the busy town of Penzance with its long promenade and Lido, restaurants, bars and summer market at Porthleven. Nearby gastro pubs and beachfront bar. No matter what you are looking for in a holiday, Cornwall has something to offer and boasts a mild temperate climate all year round. Beach 500 yards. First off, the view is SPECTACULARWe had stayed here before so were not surprised at the slightly damp smell and the quirky plumbing. However I think the cleaning has changed company as although on the surface everything is great some bits could certainly do with attention. The bin is filthy, the freezer is so iced up there is only one drawer that can be opened and the grill pan was found in a cupboard unwashed. To be fair to the previous tenants there was no washing up liquid. Dont put suitcases on the top of the wardrobe, it is filthy!There is ample parking even for a large vehicle like ours and the steps are not too bad after a couple of goes. The views are stunning.Welcome pack of scones, cream, jam and milk was very nice but would have preferred some toilet roll. None whatsoever, not even an empty roll. And no local shop.Not good with the amount charged.

The house is nice and a good place to stay for proximity to the beach and a family. It is a bit rough around the edges, but it works for us and we have had many happy years renting it in the summer. Only thing is that the plumbing into the utility room is not standard and causes a bad smell.

The lounge, bedrooms and sunroom were clean and tidy. Unfortunately the kitchen was in need of a deep clean regarding the surroundings of the skylights, don't think this would be the cleaner's responsibility. The inside of the kitchen bin was filthy. There were also stains on the outside of the kettle which just needed a quick wipe. Using the downstairs shower was not a pleasant experience. We did enjoy our stay with a good location but won't be returning.
