Guests say

Suncroft is a much-loved cottage in Penzance, praised for its breathtaking views over Praa Sands, peaceful setting, and spacious, comfortable interiors. Guests consistently highlight the conservatory as a favourite spot to relax and enjoy the scenery. The property is well-equipped, clean, and dog-friendly, with many visitors returning year after year. Thoughtful touches such as welcome packs are appreciated, though not guaranteed. Minor suggestions include improvements to lighting and additional firewood in winter, but overall, guests find Suncroft an exceptional base for exploring Cornwall’s coast.

Multiple reviews mention the property being spotlessly clean and well-maintained, with no significant complaints about cleanliness.

The location is universally praised for its stunning sea views, proximity to Praa Sands beach, and peaceful atmosphere, making it a standout feature.

Guests find the cottage very comfortable, with special mention of the beds and spacious layout. One minor note was a guest’s back not liking the lounge sofas, but the conservatory compensates.

The cottage is described as well-equipped, with ample bathrooms, kitchen amenities, and outdoor seating. Suggestions include a coffee maker, more firewood in winter, and a sun brolly for the picnic table.

Welcome packs and treats for dogs are frequently mentioned and much appreciated, though it should be noted these are not guaranteed for every stay.

Lovely place with an excellent view. The house was clean and tidy and the customer service excellent.

A great week despite the weather. A very well-equipped house, great views, comfortable beds. Some bits could do with updating, and blinds in the conservatory were a bit of a challenge to move up and down. Nothing better though than sitting in the conservatory, watching the sea, and the weather changing. Great location for exploring the end of Cornwall. Train from St Erth to St Ives is a must, as is walking over to St Michael’s Mount. Bedrooms might benefit from some thicker/blackout curtains, but have to admit we didn’t have any problems sleeping.

Once again the most amazing holiday at Suncroft, our happy place. Brilliant location overlooking the beach. Thoroughly recommend this jewel of a cottage.
