We had a lovely week at River View in Saltash. The house is in a very quiet location, within walking distance of the town centre and the Tamar.The views out of the windows (particularly the bedroom upstairs) were fab, looking straight across to the Tamar and its two bridges. The house was well equipped, the bed was lovely and comfortable and the bathroom was very spacious. Unfortunately, as there is no dishwasher (not that there's room in the kitchen), I did have to do quite a bit of washing up of stuff before we prepared our first meal. Also, the allocated parking space was sometimes occupied by others, however we were able to find parking a little further up the road.We had a fabulous meal at the Riverside Sizzler, just under the bridge in Saltash and getting the train from the local station into Plymouth was a short walk and much more convenient than taking the car.On the whole we were very happy staying in this lovely quiet little gem and I will miss those views!
