Amaroo is a spacious and light detached holiday home ideally situated just a short walk from the charming small town of St Agnes as well as the picturesque beach of Trevaunance Cove.
This bright and airy accommodation is all located on the ground floor. The large, open-plan living area includes a well-equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar and a cosy sitting room with bi-folding doors leading to the delightful, spacious garden with decking area, garden furniture and a barbecue.
Off the entrance is the first of two bedrooms with cosy twin single beds. Between the two bedrooms, the family bathroom has a bath with overhead shower; and at the end of the hallway is bedroom one with a plush king-size bed, doors leading out to the garden, and its own en-suite shower room.
St Agnes is a charming little town packed with independent shops, cafes and restaurants. Just down from the town is the wonderful beach of Trevaunance Cove where you can explore its rockpools; head to the western side to discover the old harbour remains; or try your hand at surfing. The famous South West Coast Path is accessed close by and is worth the walk to take in the stunning views and visit nearby sites such as Wheal Coates.
Amaroo comes with private parking for up to two cars, perfect for those days when you want to explore further afield.

This is a great little place, especially if you are taking dogs as the garden is totally safe and enclosed. It’s just round the corner from the St Agnes hotel as well as other shops, fish and chip shop, butchers and Spa. This is the 3rd year running we have stayed here. It is really nice but could do with a little kick of paint (if being fussy). Also a proper ironing board would be a good addition (again just little things). 5 minute walk, downhill, to the beach. The walk back up is steep. 10mins drive to Perranporth, 20 mins to Holywell Bay, 30 mins to Watergate Bay. So a really good base in a beautiful village which offers good pubs and restaurants.

Due to the price, we expected far better accommodation than Amaroo offered. I am sure when it was first offered for rental it would have been value for money but it is a very tired property. There was nowhere comfortable for 2 people to sit, the only chair was passable but the sofa was lumpy and uncomfortable. There were a couple of lights out and a leaky tap, not game changers but annoying all the same. St Agnes is a lovely village in a beautiful part of Cornwall with some great shops and public houses and very friendly locals. If you visit don't miss St.Agnes Bakery for the best pasties we have ever tasted and The Cornish Pizza Company for excellent offerings.
