Trelan is a well-appointed, comfortable cottage in Cornwall, praised for its cleanliness, stylish decor, and prime location. Guests enjoyed the proximity to local attractions and the village pub. The property boasts a lovely garden and is equipped for a relaxing stay, though some mentioned minor maintenance issues.
The majority of guests found Trelan to be spotlessly clean and well-kept, with only a few isolated comments about dust and a musty smell which slightly affected the score.
The location is highly regarded for its convenience to local attractions, beaches, and a welcoming village pub. Its central position in Cornwall makes it an ideal base for exploring.
Guests consistently praised the comfort of the beds and the spaciousness of the cottage. However, some noted that certain bedrooms lacked adequate storage, and there were comments about a damp smell.
The property is celebrated for being well-equipped and cosy, with a good parking area and garden space. Criticisms include insufficient fridge space for the number of guests, lack of storage for food, and some maintenance issues like dampness and water ingress.
While guests appreciated the welcome treats such as scones, jam, and cream, there are not enough references to consistent thoughtful gestures or gifts to accurately score this category. It should be noted that such gifts are a pleasant surprise and not guaranteed.

The garage was very spacious and the extra fridge freezer was a welcome bonus . Beds were comfortable and the whole house was spotlessly clean .A wonderful house keeper ! We did think a mirror downstairs would be very useful to check appearance or do make up as the two bathrooms were upstairs and if occupied, not so easy . We could not seem to get the heating to work in the mornings even though my husband tried several times and referred to the manual. We did notice the damp problem with the fire place but it did not affect our stay in any way . The bottle of cornish gin was a lovely gesture even so .Hope you get it sorted soon .Thanks for a lovely week.
