    lovely warm and comfortable cottage

The owner is helpful and responsive to communication and on hand to answer questions. The accommodation is outstanding in its equipment and comfort levels, except for personal preference for mattress firmness. However, I could work around this softer mattress by using one of the firmer single beds, which were also made up. The standard of decoration is very high and there is plentiful hot water and heating, making it very cosy and, although we didn't use the multi-fuel fire, there was also a good stock of fuel for this too. It makes it a cottage that is useable all year round! We loved the well-sticked current information maps and books and it was such a treat to read the diaries and visitor comments from past stays and to concur with their positivity - some had returned as visitors more than 20 times! Speaks for itself! Also noted is the award on the kitchen wall for a great cottage. Lots to see in the local area and beyond and good access to the South West Coast Path too. Larger food shops (Lidl, Asda and Tesco) are a short drive or bus ride away. We will be recommending this to others.
