We had such a wonderful stay, it truly felt like a home away from home from the moment we arrived. The cottage was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we could possibly need for a relaxing break. Every little detail had clearly been considered, which made our stay all the more comfortable. Our spaniel absolutely adored the huge garden, and it was a joy to watch him explore and settle in so quickly. One of our favourite moments each day was enjoying a quiet cup of tea in the morning while watching the geese by the pond—it was so peaceful and really allowed us to slow down and unwind. The location itself is wonderfully quiet, making it perfect for switching off and escaping the usual hustle and bustle. At the same time, it’s ideally placed for exploring the surrounding area. We’d definitely recommend a visit to the Garden of Heligan, which was a real highlight during our trip.Irene and Tom were fantastic, warm, welcoming, and incredibly thoughtful. Their communication was clear and helpful throughout, and the little personal touches & welcome pack they included made a genuine difference and added to the whole experience. We are hoping to return and would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway in Cornwall.
