Padstow has narrow cobbled lanes that meander around this ancient fishing village and gravitate towards the working fishing harbour. Get a pasty or an ice cream and watch the boats come and go with the days catch. Padstow sits at the mouth of the Camel Estuary, and you can hire bikes in the town and cycle along the shoreline as it heads into the countryside towards the market town of Wadebridge, full of craft and gift shops and bakeries.

Why not book some lessons with a local surf school and try your hand at this amazing sport?
Port Isaac, Polzeath and Rock are all nearby and easily reached with many golf clubs in the region, enabling you to play at many clubs through the week. The south coast of Cornwall is also easily accessible and offers a completely different experience of Cornwall with tropical gardens and its own climate. A fabulous hidden gem in a great location. This is the perfect place to stay for families as it has lots of enclosed outdoor space for kids to enjoy plus small dogs. It also has a nice hot tub for the adults. Inside is stylishly furnished with everything you need to get by in a place that feels like home away from home. Aldi is less than 15 minutes away. Padstow 20 minutes and port issac about 30 minutes. The perfect place for an exploring/ relaxing holiday. Owners are professional, friendly and very responsive to emails about the property. Would highly recommend.

We recently stayed at this lovely cosy cottage and it was an absolute delight! The fantastic log burner added such a wonderful touch of warmth and charm, making every evening feel magical. The decoration and appliances are of the highest standard, ensuring a stay that is both comfortable and stylish. Every single need is thoughtfully catered for, right down to the provision of a cup for your toothbrushes. The hot tub was pure heaven, with a high spec that made it an absolute dream to use. The beautiful scenic surroundings provided the perfect backdrop for relaxation and tranquility. The cottage is perfectly located for everything, including Padstow and many stunning beaches. We were there with our 3-year-old, and it was absolutely perfect and safe for him. The enclosed garden was perfect for our dog—completely secure with plenty of space for him to run around. We will definitely be returning to this wonderful retreat!
