Beautiful house with high spec facilities and fantastic location. What spoilt this was.. we were told we could be in the house at 3pm but the cleaners did not leave until 4pm. We drove past the house at 11.30am and saw the cleaners car so kept ourselves busy until 3, knocked on the door and they ignored us so we sat on the drive waiting for them to leave! The kitchen and bathrooms were clean but the cleanliness of the rest of the house was disappointing. The one bed looked like someone had been sleeping in it as inside and out, there were lots of long black curly hairs! All week we kept finding them! Bedroom drawers were dirty, the bedroom bins looked dirty, there were bogeys stuck to the wall next to the bedroom mirror! There were pubic hairs on the lovely window seat. Crumbs all around the lounge and rice under the dining chairs. The cushions on the dirty sofas were disgusting. We had to get the hoover from the garage and clean ourselves as soon as we arrived! The garage was a mess, lots of dirty laundry bags. The wet room style showers were just not practical as the drains do not drain!! We had to lift the drain and use the sink unblocker to try help! Every shower resulted in 10 minutes of mopping after! The house was probably cleaner when we left than we arrived! Fantastic house and location and still had a great holiday.

All in all a lovely holiday let close to the train station, not so good for those with mobility issues. Paid over £3200 for a week had everything that was needed but could do with better pillows and had a bad smell coming from one of the bathroom drains, though price was a bit steep. The size of the house is perfect for big families and I would stay again but out of main season.

The house is lovely, however it is not as the description. There is 1 kitchen not 2. Ground floor has 3 bedrooms all with en-suite. There is a utility area in the garage. The 1st floor has the living and kitchen area. It also has a shower room. The balcony is lovely with a sea view however had not been cleaned and there was bird droppings on the chairs. The area was dusty and dirty and had not been swept. There were hand marks all over the sliding doors to the balcony too. The top floor has a bedroom (the master) however NO EN-SUITE as described. There is a bathroom you need to use is across from the kitchen making it u comfortable when going from there back up to the room. There is no wardrobe in the master either. The views however are amazing. There was not a welcome hamper or note which is a bit disappointing as we had paid over £3k to stay here for 1 week. A bottle of wine or a nite saying welcome would have been a lovely touch and easy to do. There was no hand soap in any bathrooms which again I think should be a basic item. There were no liners in the bins in each room which I think is unhygienic. One of the ground floor en-suites shower was blocked and smelt bad however when we eventually found the details to call this was rectified the same day. The folder with info to call with issues is out of date so we went around the houses slightly to report the issue. All in all the house is great but just a few little touches would make it stand out and be even more appealing. We stayed as a family of 6 - 2 couples, a teenager and a grandma - so the rooms all in the ground floor having an en-suite were great for privacy. We stayed august 2025 in the school holidays. The beach is great but the hill is steep. We hired paddle boards at £14 for an hour which was great. We had Sunday lunch at The Gannet which was amazing and we would definitely recommend.
