The cottage is very nice only downfall was the sofa had bad pet odour on it and a smell of raw sewage was in the property a couple of times of the day. If this issue could be resolved i would be happy to return to driftwood.

Despite reading other reviews, we found the cottage very small and dark inside. Not having much light and no living room window made it feel a little uncomfortable. It was very noisy being the main route for people and cars going to the beach and carpark so couldn’t open the bedroom window or door to let in cool air. Only one two seat sofa made it hard to relax and get comfortable. It lacked furniture and smelled grubby. The sofa and throws etc needed a good wash. A lamp would have been useful as would a dustpan and brush. We paid extra to take our dog but only had two dog blankets provided where perhaps a dog bowl and bed may have been helpful.
