Lundy Cottage is a contemporary, semi-detached holiday home located towards the top end of Rock, just a stone’s throw from a local pub and village shops, whilst the beautiful, local beaches Daymer Bay and Polzeath on the North Cornwall coast are all a car journey away. Extensive countryside views are enjoyed from the enclosed garden; the paved patio and garden furniture give plenty of opportunity for dining outside on a warm day. Underfloor and central heating make this an inviting, self-catering holiday retreat at any time of year in all weathers. Sleeping six guests, across three well-furnished bedrooms, this property is ideal for families with children and also allows pets to stay.
Full of light, the spacious kitchen/diner is open-plan with ample storage, whilst next door in the lounge, sink into the plush sofas and choose a DVD or a board game from a selection provided. One of the bedrooms has a king-size bed with en-suite shower room, whilst the twin room and double rooms share a roomy and stylish family bathroom, perfect for a post-beach pamper. Famous for its location on the Camel Estuary, Rock is an exciting place for a holiday, especially for lovers of watersports and of the Cornish coastline. A sailing mecca, the Rock Sailing Club organises regular racing events and has a busy bar and balcony over the water.
The sailing school provides lessons and boats for hire whilst the Camel Ski School teaches paddle boarding, waterskiing, and wakeboarding. Boat trips will whisk you around the coast on fun fishing trips or exhilarating sea safaris to spot seals, sea birds and dolphins. Explore the endless miles of coastal paths on foot; head South past Padstow via the ferry towards Trevose lighthouse or North towards Port Quin and Port Isaac via the National Trust's Pentire Point and The Rumps. Rock is a desirable and much sought after coastal village located on the north eastern bank of the River Camel opposite the famous harbour town of Padstow which is easily reached by a regular ferry service. The summer home of royalty and celebrities offering top class restaurants and quality shops, the real draw is the array of watersports including sailing, water skiing, windsurfing and angling. Continuing on a sporting theme, the golf course at nearby St Enodoc is considered to be one of the best in the country. With an abundance of world class beaches all within a short radius it is easy to see why Rock holds its popularity.

This is a perfect house for a group, very well equipped, everything you could need. Great location, for local beaches etc, it's dog friendly, has an enclosed garden we all loved our stay.

Very comfortable everything we could possibly want. Just a couple of things the garden light didnât wrk so that was a pain with taking dog out in the garden at night. Also there could have been a bit more fencing or wire on the fence with the neighbours cos if u have a small dog they can try n get under the fence. But a lovely cottage

The kitchen is so well equipped. The second fridge is so useful, both are small but together are sufficient for six people. Thank you for information on different walks. Looking forward to returning next year!
