Situated within walking distance of beautiful Bossiney Cove, popular with surfers and where the South West Coast Path offers breath-taking views from the rugged West coast of Cornwall, Elmington Studio is the ideal retreat to discover historic Tintagel. Elmington Studio is located within the owners’ grounds and provides good quality accommodation for a couple. The front door leads to an entrance hall with a stylish bathroom off, which has a great double headed shower, heated towel rail and motion detection lighting mirror. A wide staircase leads to an open-plan space, with lots of windows providing a bright and airy feel. A fitted spacious kitchen area has dedicated breakfast bar seating for two. The comfortable 2-seater sofa and Smart TV offer a place to relax, whilst the excellent kingsize bed is the perfect place to rest and recharge after a day of excursions. The views from the windows are superb.
Tintagel has an atmospheric castle of two halves, joined by a feat of modern engineering, and a footbridge boasting outstanding views below and around you as you cross from one side to the other! The town also has a plethora of gift shops, pubs and restaurants.
Visit Boscastle, the beautiful fishing port on the north coast and just a few miles away, and stroll down to the picturesque harbour or venture into the Valency Valley where woodland walks meet rivers and streams. Port Isaac, where the popular TV series ’Doc Martin’ is filmed, offers excellent views and a delightful harbour, restaurants and narrow streets. Beaches are plentiful and many have coves and inlets to explore. This is an ideal base from which to visit the many gems this part of Cornwall has to offer!
