Guests appreciate the quaintness and character of the cottage, the welcoming owner, and the well-equipped kitchen and bathroom. The property's setting by a stream and in a wood adds to its charm, although some guests mention limited headroom in the bedroom and a damp smell.

The cottage is generally described as clean, with several reviews noting it was well-maintained. However, a few guests mentioned cobwebs and a damp smell, which slightly affected the overall perception of cleanliness.

The location is highly praised for its beauty, tranquility, and proximity to coastal paths, waterfalls, and local towns. It is considered ideal for exploring Cornwall and enjoying nature.

The cottage is often described as cosy and peaceful, with a comfortable bed and a wood burner adding to the ambiance. However, the low headroom in the bedroom and steep stairs are noted as comfort drawbacks, particularly for taller guests or those with mobility issues.

The split door let a bit of heat out, but what can you expect? The grounds were stunning and Robin both kind and chatty. We really cannot rate this bungalow enough, and look forward to coming back.

However we did find the cottage decor dated. TV very small. Stair access to bedroom narrow and steep. Access around bed was very difficult as you can't stand up due to very low ceiling height. Had to get changed downstairs. The duvet on bed felt damp. Kitchen and Bathroom were ok. There was a damp smell.

It is a lovely little cottage in a beautiful location, plenty of walks from the cottage and easily accessible by car or bus to local villages and towns. The property itself had most things we needed for a week away, minus washing facilities. The host was welcoming and provided all the help we needed. The property was a bit damp, which for someone with asthma was a bit difficult, but there was a log burner and heater which definitely helped to manage this. Headroom in the bedroom was limited, as advertised, but you get used to is quickly! It's a lovely place to stay and we really enjoyed our time there.
