The holiday park is west of Plymouth and east of Looe. Framing far-reaching views towards the shimmering waters of the coast and enjoying close proximity to the bustling city of Plymouth, Lodge 23 makes an excellent base for a group of four to explore the delights of Cornwall. Stepping inside this wonderful abode, be greeted by the homely open-plan living space, beautifully-appointed with a traditional wooden interior and bathed in natural light welcomed in through the patio doors. Look forward to putting your feet up in front of the television following an action-packed day of adventure whilst the designated chef rustles up a hearty meal for the group in the well-equipped kitchen. Set the table and gather together with your loved ones to indulge or take your dining experience outdoors with a sociable seat on the secure, decked veranda, backed by the spectacular views of the surrounding coastline. A handy washer/dryer positioned in the hallway helps ensure your holiday attire is fresh and dry throughout your stay, whilst a nearby desk provides a helpful spot for those looking to catch up on work during their stay. When day draws to night, you can prepare for bed with a blissful soak in the family bathroom before catching your rest in one of the two well-presented bedrooms, with a double and a twin room to choose from, offering flexible sleeping arrangements for both families and friends sharing. The Fort Inn Restaurant & Bar on site at Whitsand Bay Fort Holiday Park offers the perfect spot to enjoy an evening of dining out on those occasions where you don't fancy doing the cooking, whilst the nearby Cliff Top Café is the perfect pitstop to fuel a day of excursions with a hearty breakfast in the morning! Take advantage of your close proximity to the coast and enjoy the short stroll down cliff to the glorious sands of Tregonhawke beach, where you can enjoy peaceful afternoons lounging with a good book as the waves sweep onto the shore; those looking for a more exhilarating experience can try their hand a surfing with expert tuition available from Adventure Bay Surf School. Whilst you're in the area, be sure to visit the port city of Plymouth, where you can come face-to-face with marine life at the National Marine Aquarium, marvel at the Georgian architecture of the National Trust's Saltram house or tour the historic fortress of the Royal Citadel. Discover the best of South Cornwall with a retreat to Lodge 23.

Other than that the lodge was great.

Quiet, beautiful views, easy access. The whole lodge had everything you need. A glass for every type of drink, plenty of crockery, cooking pans etc. The lodge was lovely and clean, smelt nice and was so open and spacious. A few of the full time neighbour's were friendly and stopped to chat. Beautiful places to visit nearby. We only came over from Plymouth but it felt like we were 'holidaying' for sure. Would stay again and recommend the loge as a place to stay. There are trolleys available to move your belongings from your car. There is a slope down to the lodge but it's easy ish to navigate. The great thing is no vehicles driving past your accommodation. Private and quiet.

Although we knew we would have to leave our car in the carpark and walk to the lodge we didn't realise just how far and a steep slope too. We are in our 70s and did struggle getting the our luggage in and out , shame really because we loved the lodge but wouldn't go again.
