Beautiful quiet setting. You do need a car to get about but the farm is very clean with the lodges situated behind the main house. We were given a free upgrade to a lodge with a hot tub which was excellent and great value for money. The host was very attentive and helpful with information on shops all local amenities. Lots to explore within an hours drive of the cottage/lodges.

Moved to a lodge instead, lodge was nice just missing some basics I.e. shelf in bathroom for toiletries. WiFi came with the rental however this was poor as shared with all 4 lodges, may have been better in the cottage. All in all and nice place and the host was very friendly.

On arrival we were re-directed to one of the cabins - as a no-cost upgrade - so this review relates to the cabin rather than Cherrytree Cottage itself. The extra space and equipment was appreciated, as was the central heating. The only criticism of the cabin would be that the lighting was rather dim, making reading in the evening a challenge. The location and amenities received a downgrade only because the situation is very rural - so perfect for those appreciating peace and quiet.
