Guests say

The Shed With A View receives glowing feedback for its peaceful rural setting, stunning views, and welcoming hosts. Guests consistently praise the immaculate cleanliness, well-equipped kitchen, and comfortable accommodation. The property is ideal for those seeking relaxation, wildlife watching, and dog-friendly stays. While access via a narrow lane is noted, most found it manageable. Thoughtful touches, such as a welcome cream tea, are frequently mentioned, though not guaranteed. Minor suggestions include softer towels and improved outdoor seating. Overall, guests leave feeling relaxed and eager to return.

Cleanliness is repeatedly highlighted, with guests describing the property as 'immaculately clean', 'spotlessly clean', and 'very clean'. Only one minor mention of condensation on a window was noted, but this did not detract from the overwhelmingly positive feedback.

The tranquil countryside location and beautiful views are major positives. Guests appreciate the privacy and proximity to nature, though several note the narrow access lane and the need for a car. The rural setting is valued for peace and wildlife, with only minor inconvenience from the approach.

Guests find the property spacious, cosy, and comfortable, with particular praise for the bed and quality linen. The peaceful environment and secure garden for dogs add to the comfort. A few mention the property can get warm in hot weather, but fans are provided.

Facilities are highly rated, with guests appreciating the well-equipped kitchen, dishwasher, washing machine, and bathroom. Books, games, and jigsaws are a welcome addition. Some minor suggestions include softer towels and more outdoor seating, and a couple of maintenance notes about patio doors and overgrown plants.

The hosts are frequently described as friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, often providing a welcome cream tea or homegrown treats. While these thoughtful gestures are much appreciated, it should be noted that such gifts are not guaranteed for every stay.

This is a lovely, clean and comfortable stay. One of the best I have used I have to say. Very dog friendly and the host is so helpful and accommodating. The welcome cream tea is a great touch. It’s in a convenient yet quiet spot and ideal for sightseeing and walking with a town nearby if needed. The amount of birds you can hear is amazing. Would highly recommend staying here to anyone.
