The terrace is a great place to unwind with a glass of wine during warmer months, and families will enjoy the large and peaceful garden. The large garden is extremely private and lets in a lot of sun.
The River Taw, which is home to the Tarka Trail, is an easy 10-minute walk from The Red Barn, or just 2 minutes’ by bicycle.
Saunton Sands is just a short drive away where you will find a 4 mile stretch of golden sand. For those looking to explore the local coastline, the South West Coast Path, rated by Lonely Planet as one of the top walks to be found anywhere in the world, is within easy reach. Keen golfers are welcome to make use of facilities at the nearby Saunton golf club.

The Red Barn was clean and comfortable and in a quiet location with lovely views; The owner, Linda, was very pleasant and helpful. However, the private road leading to the owner's property and The Red Barn was atrocious with potholes galore which has not done the suspension on our car any favours!! This is something which, in my opinion, needs to be rectified and would definitely put me off rebooking this property.

Stunning place. So comfortable clean and warm. Very homely everything there you need. Owner Linda made us very welcome. Loved the huge windows so much light, stunning garden view. Will definately come back as perfect base to use to explore. Happy to spend time in the Red Barn as so comfortable.
