After a day at the beach, return to your welcoming apartment to unwind on the sofas while taking in the stunning views, or sip a sundowner on your private balcony. The first-floor apartment opens into an inviting kitchen, where you can rustle up a tasty meal for the group or gather around the breakfast bar to plan your day’s itinerary. Alternatively, spend memorable mealtimes in the separate dining room, which boasts magnificent views across Croyde Bay. After dinner, pour yourself a glass of wine and retire to the lounge, which again has stunning ocean views, to chat about your day or watch a movie on the Smart TV. There are some excellent family attractions within 20 miles of the apartment, which are great for non-beach days. Particular favourites include Watermouth Castle, Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park, and Exmoor Zoo. Spend a relaxing afternoon pottering around the picturesque Victorian town of Ilfracombe (9.5 miles). Wander around the historic harbour to marvel at Damien Hirst’s Verity statue before dining in one of the many independent restaurants.
