10 Cove View is a stunning ground floor coastal apartment with dual aspect views towards the sea, Capstone, Landmark Theatre and Hillsborough coastline. It’s perfectly positioned in the heart of the seaside town of Ilfracombe and has the benefit of two allocated parking spaces in the nearby private car park, ideal for families or two couples, a rarity for properties of this size in the town. Recently refreshed with new flooring throughout the ground floor, from the moment you step inside the hallway, you find a bright, spacious and contemporary furnished lounge with luxury sofas, TV, radio, PS4, games, books, Nest smart heating system and sky broadband.

Californian shutters, crisp white walls, high ceilings and its east-west facing position, give an added sense of light and space which flows through the floor to ceiling windows and patio doors and continues into the dining area and kitchen. Balconies on both sides allow you to enjoy stunning views and sunshine all day as you step out with your morning coffee to the rear offering views of the Hillsborough coastal path. For your sundowner, move to the front balcony with views of the sea, Capstone and Landmark Theatre as you enjoy the afternoon sun and magnificent sunsets which flood the lounge with light.

As you move through into the dining area, enjoy a delicious meal in the very well equipped kitchen, catching up on the day you've just had and making plans for further adventures during your stay. Downstairs lies two very comfortable spacious bedrooms, the luxury master king-sized bedroom is on the lower ground floor with beautiful with high quality bed and linen, TV, en-suite shower room and walk in wardrobe (containing body boards, iron and board and hairdryer).The excellent ground floor twin bedroom has quality pocket sprung divans (with a zip/link option for a super king on request), beautiful bed linen and a patio door to the rear courtyard garden.

The impressive main bathroom suite is also rear facing on the ground floor, with a deep bathtub and large shower to enjoy a long soak from a day on the beach or walk along the famous South west coastal path. This apartments excellent location has everything within a few minutes walk such as restaurants, cafes, pubs, shops, the promenade and harbour with its boat trips to Lundy and the Ilfracombe sea safari, Damien Hirst's statue Verity, the Ilfracombe Aquarium and the historic Tunnels Beaches. For keen surfers and those who are seeking the large expanses of sands that this coast is famous for, Woolacombe, Croyde and Staunton Sands are a short drive.Ilfracombe has its own golf course and there are more options within 10-15 mins drive towards Woolacombe.

With Lee Bay, Heddon Valley, Exmoor National park on the doorstep as well as many other areas of outstanding beauty such as Lynton and Lynmouth, this property is one you will want to return to.

The seaside town of Ilfracombe lies on a beautiful stretch of North Devon coastline, with five beaches, much of it owned by the National Trust.     It was spotless and the furnishings were immaculate. The bedrooms were particularly good and the embroidered towels were a very nice touch. The bed linen is high quality. I have stayed in 4 star hotels that have not been as nice. All of the facilities are top tier as well. Kitchen is very well equipped. The lounge is lovely and comfortable too. My only minor criticism is that the bedrooms and bathrooms were cold. We were there in mid-September and it would have been nice to have the temperature a little higher. The heating seems to be set to turn itself off at night and also during the day. Could have done with keeping the temperature downstairs higher at night time. I didn't do anything with the boiler as there were instructions not to touch it Had we been there in the height of a hot summer the cooler lower floor would be a blessing. The car parking is a short walk from the apartment with pretty steep hill. My mobility isn't great but I managed it. The area is very hilly in general along that stretch of coast which means the views are amazing. As a place to stay I would certainly recommend 10 Cove View as the great place to stay. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again if we returned to Ilfracombe.

    The lounge, dining and kitchen areas are lovely - light, bright, very clean and with everything you could possibly need. The two bedrooms and bathrooms are at basement level, so a little darker and slightly chilly. Everything is immaculate. With the larger bathroom, the pop up plug wasn't working, so if you ran a bath, the water would just run away. The heated mirror over the sink wasn't working, and the pop up plug in the sink didn't work properly either. We reported this to the housekeeping service, who suggested we have a go at fixing it with a screwdriver. As my husband couldn't use the bath, he had a shower, and found that the temperature control knob was extremely loose, almost coming off in his hand. With the smaller bathroom, we also had problems with the pop up plug. 10 Cove View is a really lovely property, it just needs a quick visit from a plumber and it would be perfect.

    The apartment was spacious sea view spotlessly clean comfortable furniture comfortable beds beautiful bathrooms well equipped kitchen we will definitely book again we would highly recommend the only problem was navigating the TV controls but overall a fantastic stay
