Once two holiday homes, the owner has taken the charming little coach house, perfect for any type of getaway. Be welcomed into an open-plan living space where you can spend your evening keeping up to date with all your favourite shows or enjoying a peaceful evening of reading on the corner sofa. Here, you will find a well-equipped kitchen hosting all the necessary appliances for some home-cooking and a well-deserved glass of wine after a long adventurous day. Once the evening draws to a close, you have a cosy double bedroom to get some much needed rest. The bedroom has a range of furnishings, which complement the light decor, and offer an abundance of space to store your personal items. Discover the first floor bathroom, with a Jacuzzi bath for two, shower over bath, please use with care as is in Jacuzzi bath bath mat will be provided. Outside, you can dine alfresco during the warmer months in the rear gravelled area and enjoy watching the sun set across the horizon. Set in the heart of Combe Martin, you are within a short stroll of a number of pubs and restaurants; enjoy sampling some local cuisine at The Dolphin Inn Bar & Bistro and Doom Bar. During the summer months, make sure you take a trip towards Combe Martin Beaches where you can get involved in an abundance of watersporting opportunities; or if you're looking for a quieter place, Wild Pear Beach is the perfect choice. Venture towards Combe Martin Museum for a spot of culture and displays detailing the village's rich history and heritage. If you're looking for something a little more adventurous, visit the Hangman cliffs where keen hikers can explore this vast and beautiful landscape with many views across the coast, with trails leading further into the Exmoor National Park. The coastal towns of Ilfracombe and Lynton are within easy reach and offer a wide-range of attractions to suit all ages and tastes. Combe Martin is a village and civil parish resting in North Devon. There is a small selection of pubs, restaurants, cafés and a convenience store for all of your immediate amenities. It rests on the edge of the Exmoor National Park with its unique landscape and wild moorland making it an exceptional spot for touring with your loved ones and the family dog. The location is just perfect, only a couple of minutes to the (dog-friendly) beach and the town centre. Combe Martin itself is a great base location generally, but the proximity to the beach really makes this property stand out. The house had everything we needed to ensure a comfortable stay. The stairs are a little difficult to navigate (as someone with mobility problems) but this was made clear within the listing. The cream tea on arrival was really welcomed - some milk would have been nice so we could have brewed up on arrival. The addition of a dressing table would be great as I found it difficult to dry my hair, having to move one of the bedside tables to be able to sit on the floor near an outlet and mirror. The lack of an enclosed area for the dog was the only draw back we could find; Newberry Beach is just across the road and is dog friendly all year round so this was exceptionally convenient for us, though having to get shoes on, leash up the dog, and then walk him up and down the street outside for his final toilet break before bed was a little frustrating, it would be nice to just be able to open the door and let him outside as we do at home. We did also find ourselves having to pick up a fair amount of cat faeces from the front gravelled area, though thereâs really very little that could be done to prevent this itâs maybe something the owner should be aware of as we did worry that it would be assumed that any we didnât manage to get would be attributed to our dog. Iâm unable to really pass comment on the cooking facilities as we ate out every evening, but at a glance it appeared as though everything needed to prepare meals was available. We had a fantastic week and this property and itâs location really contributed to that. Despite the slight niggle with the lack of enclosed outdoor space, weâre already looking at booking again for next year - and we have never re-booked a holiday let before! Thank you so much.

Could do with some kitchen knives. One provided was very bendy.

Nice location. Only problem for us no enclosed area for our little dog to safely have outside space so I donât think the property is really suitable or safe for dogs as it opens onto the lane and cars go past the house. If travelling just as a couple itâs great but not with a dog.
