Coombe View is a well-received cottage offering stunning views, tranquillity, and a welcoming atmosphere. Guests praise the peaceful location, the thoughtful touches like homemade lemon drizzle cake, and the property's cleanliness. It's a dog-friendly retreat with beautiful walks and wildlife, ideal for those looking to escape busy life and enjoy the countryside.
Guests consistently mention the immaculate condition of the property, indicating high standards of cleanliness. One mention of pet hair suggests a slight room for improvement, but overall, the cleanliness is highly regarded.
The location is celebrated for its stunning views and peacefulness, perfect for countryside walks and relaxation. However, some guests note the remoteness and the distance to tourist attractions and beaches, which may not suit everyone's preferences.
The comfort of the cottage is generally praised, with mentions of cosy settings and comfortable beds. However, there are comments about the lack of comfort in some of the beds, particularly for children, which affects the score slightly.
Facilities are well-regarded with a few minor maintenance issues such as shower headroom and a fridge shelf needing attention. The property is equipped for a relaxing stay, but these small points suggest room for improvement.
The hosts are commended for their thoughtfulness, with several mentions of a welcome pack. While such gifts add to the experience, it's important to note that these are complimentary and subject to change.

The cottage is beautiful, wonderful views of the countryside, decor is really nice and beds comfortable. We drove to Lynton, Combe Martin, Saunton and Woolacombe during our stay so didn’t spend too much time locally. Would recommend this cottage to anyone wanting an escape to a gorgeous well equipped cottage

We arrived during a storm, and got lost but luckily we had stopped right outside and the owner was on her way to the barn. Please download what3words before you set off and use the instructions that they send. That was our mistake. The barn was lovely, the pictures dont actually do it justice, the views are amazing. The lemon drizzle cake and loaf of bread was a lovely touch, and the owners put the lights on for us so we didnt arrive in the dark. We had a wonderful time staying here and would recommend.
