This property is not suitable for babies, toddlers and very young children due to the close proximity of the water - It is not appropriate for children who will not understand or respect the danger of a sea wall and a 4m drop to the seabed

WiFi - There is Wifi throughout the property so if you need to stay in touch with the outside world you can!

From the initial telephone call to you about recommendations to the time we spent in the cottage, you were brilliant!!!! Thank you, especially for arranging a late checkout time. It made all the difference we left at 1pm. We will definitely use Finest Stays again, infact we will only use Finest Stays in the future! Thank you all we had THE BEST time!!! Ferry cottage was absolutely a dream come true, we had the most perfect weekend. Great location, stunning scenery, wonderful interiors and the attention to detail is amazing. The beds are the comfiest ever and wonderful linen to compliment them. Cannot fault this beautiful cottage and we will definitely be back. We had a truly wonderful stay at Ferry Cottage. Yes, it’s on the cosy side, but it’s packed full of character, and the stunning sea views — along with being so close to everything — made it really special. It was the perfect spot to unwind: a well-equipped kitchen for family meals, huge and incredibly comfortable beds, and a wonderfully snug living area to relax in after a day on the beach. We even braved the chilly water and took the plunge straight from the patio! One morning we were treated to a sailboat display/race, and it was such a delight watching the boats glide so close to the patio while we ate breakfast. We would highly recommend Ferry Cottage to anyone seeking a fabulous location and charming base, who doesn’t mind traditional, separate living spaces in place of open-plan living.

We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage on the estuary. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by how immaculate and welcoming everything was. The cottage is finished to an exceptionally high standard, blending comfort with style, and had everything we needed for a truly relaxing break. The setting is absolutely stunning – waking up each morning to views over the estuary was a real highlight. It was peaceful and tranquil, yet perfectly placed for exploring the surrounding area. Whether we were enjoying breakfast on the terrace, watching the tides change, or simply unwinding indoors, it felt like a little slice of paradise. The hosts have clearly thought of every detail to make their guests feel at home, and we couldn’t have asked for a warmer welcome. We would return in a heartbeat and recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable getaway. We look forward to returning next June.
