An awful smell of urine and damp through out the apparent, so stuffy and uncomfortable. Everything in the kitchen was dirty. Stained mugs, dirty trays, kettle full of muck and dirt. Had other accommodation been available in the town we would have left. Mould all around the bath and shower, shower heads black with mould. A very run down apartment that is not maintained to a high enough cleanlines.

Great apartment just round the corner from the High Street in Totnes. Very central! Parking right out front. Peaceful at night. Apartment is half of the upstairs of the main house owned and lived in by the host. Independent entrance is on ground floor beside the hosts front door, then you walk up stairs into your own apartment that is quite spacious! Mini hob for cooking, crockery and wine glases provided, even a fridge wit a mini freezer. The bedroom and bathroom are masive. Note - the bed is very solid, huge, and gave a super restful sleep! There is a little balcony off the kitchen, looking over the hosts back garden. Some of the plates/cups/worktops hadn't been cleaned in quite a while and there was animal hair all over the couch (perhaps guests had a dog staying before us) but the apartment was charming and the town is lovely for a weekend away, looking through the independent shops and having coffees and vegan buffets in the hippy cafes.

Really happy with our stay, the property was exactly as described and photographed. The location is excellent, just a minute or two walk and you're in the centre and so handy that there is a parking space too. We had great communication from the host, they were friendly and helpful. We would recommend and happily stay here again if we visit the area.
