For dog lovers, a dog-friendly pub 5 minutes’ walk away, and a dog-friendly coffee shop and local store are 10 minutes’ walk. The property is gated and lies within a 2-acre setting with lovely views, and a footpath outside the gates takes you around the area. The owner also a qualified dog trainer and behaviourist and can advise on any dog issues.
There are many golf courses close by and plentiful good walking. With easy access to both the rugged moors and the serene seaside, you can embark on invigorating hikes across the moorlands, taking in the panoramic vistas, or opt for soothing beach walks along the coastline. The English Riviera is about 15 to 20 minutes’ drive away, and Exeter is about 12 miles.

1 The Follys is set in a beautiful, peaceful location. We enjoyed sitting in the shade on the patio at the end of every day watching and hearing the birds in the garden.A good base for visiting many of the lovely attractions in South Devon.Katy, the host, was very welcoming and friendly.

Very well equipped and spacious accommodation, with ample car parking adjacent to the Folly.Set in beautiful grounds , safe and secure for dogs. In fact dogs are made so welcome here and in the village .The pub 5 mins walk away serves excellent food and is very welcoming.We would definitely recommend this accommodation, very peaceful area , and Katy on hand should you need any advice on excursions.etc.Can’t wait to return.
