The property is gated and lies within a 2-acre setting with lovely views, and a footpath outside the gates takes you around the area. The owner also a qualified dog trainer and behaviourist and can advise on any dog issues.
There are many golf courses close by and plentiful good walking. With easy access to both the rugged moors and the serene seaside, you can embark on invigorating hikes across the moorlands, taking in the panoramic vistas, or opt for soothing beach walks along the coastline. The English Riviera is about 15 to 20 minutes’ drive away, and Exeter is about 12 miles.

Lovely welcome from our hostess Katy to a lovely well appointed, modern and clean Lodge.Large dog friendly, secure ground although there isn't any immediate private zone. However this wasn't a problem for our pups.Very good food from the local pub just a 5 minute walk away.Well positioned for visits to many local village and seaside resorts.Beware, some of the carparks are cash only or pay by phone which was a bit annoying.Katy was on hand also to give dog behavioural advice which made an immediate difference to one one our pups......the other is a work in progress!Would thoroughly recommend.

We had such a lovely, relaxing stay and really didn’t want to leave! We felt so welcomed with our Bull Terrier, and it was great to find somewhere that is genuinely dog-friendly and accepting of all breeds. The lovely welcome pack of treats was such a thoughtful touch.We’d happily recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful, dog-friendly getaway.The Court Farm Inn is just a 5-minute walk away, with great food, gluten-free options, and a warm welcome for dogs. There’s also a bus stop nearby, with buses into Totnes and Newton Abbot.
