We stayed at Midships for a week with our little dogs . We found Midships fisherman’s cottage very comfortable, the furniture and especially the beds ! Plenty of room inside lovely front bedroom and great downstairs space . Everything with needed in kitchen and great welcoming pack . Great escape proof garden for little dogs. Local pub over the road about 15 steps ! And 2 more round corner. Beach 2 minutes walk . Big Tesco 5 mins in car We parked on Commodore Hotel Carpark as suggested by owners just told hotel reception on first day , nice little walk along front to car in morning about 10 min. Loading and unloading outside cottage good as lane very quiet. We really enjoyed our week at Midships and would return. Yes it’s an older cottage but very comfortable just could do with electric shower over bath that’s our only suggestion.

Just had a lovely week staying in midships cottage in instow. The cottage was everything we wanted, clean, perfect layout for us and the dogs, fantastic position close to one of the best dog friendly beaches we've seen, great pub 15 paces from the front door and all appliances in place including dishwasher and washing machine. The cottage was nice and clean with a lovely welcome pack too. Beds were comfy and huge. Could be improved by having a riser rail and curtain for the shower, kneeling down to shower is a bit awkward but a minor niggle.
