Equipment can be hired if necessary. Continue to Bude (14 miles) for surfing, sandcastles and swimming in the sea, plus a bustling seaside town with spots to shop and eat. Equestrians are welcome at La Rocco Riding School (8.5 miles), or for wild ponies, try Meeth Quarry Nature Reserve (11.5 miles). Meeth also has 150 hectares of beautiful landscape, full of butterflies, birds and lakes.
