Consisting of three cottages: Tothery Cottage, Drackenorth Lodge and Bower Cottage, these three homes offer guests a wonderful home in a truly stunning location. All three of these stunning properties have their own living spaces, bathrooms and outside areas for you to enjoy and explore.
Tothery Cottage consists of a kitchen/diner for homecooking and a wonderful sitting area with a toasty woodburning stove. Drackenorth Lodge is an exceptional choice with en-suite bedrooms and a first-floor living room with a pool table for some friendly competition!
Finally, Bower Cottage has a handy open-plan living area to maximise ease throughout the entirety of your stay.
You can also enjoy the gym facilities as well as a larger games room that has activities like darts and table tennis. When the sun is shining, fire up the barbecue in the shared courtyard and enjoy a nice meal together. Once you and your loved ones are settled in, head out to explore what the local province has to offer. Head over to Beaminster, which is easily accessed by car, and enjoy the fun Donkey Walking Adventures that are available in the countryside. For a truly special day out, make your way to Bridport & West Dorset Golf Club & Toptracer Driving Range for one of the most scenic rounds of golf anywhere along the coast! Drive down into Dorchester and visit the historical Dorset Museum & Art Gallery, which boasts a collection of Iron Age artefacts, fossils and Thomas Hardy's effects. There are plenty of other towns to visit while out on your adventures like Bridport, Weymouth and even Yeovil if you decide to travel more inland. The attractive country town of Beaminster nestles beneath the rolling West Dorset downland within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Around its square is the Conservation Area which boasts over 200 Grade II listed buildings, many of which are built from mellow hamstone. This thriving rural community offers a good selection of shops, inns and restaurants, whilst each summer hosts a popular music and arts festival. The local area abounds in a network of footpaths, one leads to the village of Netherbury, the site of the original River Cottage TV programme. An easy drive takes you to the lively market town of Bridport and to West Bay (TV's Broadchurch) on Dorset's stunning Jurassic Coast, whilst Lyme Regis, Dorchester and Weymouth are all easily accessible. A charming Dorset country town set in a most attractive rural setting.
