A very comfortable holiday cottage not far from Lyme Regis. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

This was the 2nd New Year break at The Barn we have taken - and again a wonderful 7 day break. It started with a lovely festive welcome basket (yum). The Barn is probably 200m from the main road, but because of the position, very quiet and no traffic noise was heard. The place is very comfortable, clean and spacious; and the views are fantastic. As stated, it is very near a main road, which has access to all that which the Dorset Jurassic Coast has to offer - Lyme Regis, Charmouth, Seatown. Bridport with it's twice weekly market, a run up Golden Cap for the more adventurous, West Bay further east, and Exeter for day excursions at 32ish miles along the A35/A30 if you want to go west.

We had a wonderful Christmas Break in this beautiful barn. It’s well equipped, really spacious and it was decorated beautifully for Christmas. We loved the extra touches like the doggie pack, the basket of treats on arrival and the Christmas card. The kitchen area is small but has everything you need and the rest of the barn being so big absolutely makes up for this. The views are stunning and all the local beaches are within an easy drive. The only thing we had trouble with was the front door not shutting properly and it being quite cold when the temperature dropped, otherwise I would have given it a 5 star. I would absolutely recommend it to others. Thanks for a lovely holiday.
