Chideock 1.1 miles. Situated in a peaceful location and surrounded by countryside lands, West Perry Hay is an attractive, spacious semi-detached property on the edge of the village of North Chideock. Adjacent to a working farm with pigs, cows, sheep and goats, the friendly owners are happy to show you around and introduce you to the animals, but don’t forget your wellies! Offering a rural retreat, this delightful dwelling makes a wonderful base for a family or group of friends to immerse themselves in the countryside settings of Dorset. The whole dwelling feels spacious, stylish and is thoroughly well-appointed; the generous sitting room is snug and offers a contemporary setting to unwind in, to one end you will find a multi-games table which can be used for pool, table tennis or table hockey, perfect for those not so sunny days and keeping the little ones entertained for hours. The grand, brightly-coloured kitchen has plenty of space for the entire family to eat and be together around the farmhouse style table, or if you prefer, the more formal dining room also makes a great spot for board games too. On the first floor, three homely bedrooms consisting of a double, a twin with an en-suite and further twin, shared a gleaming bathroom. Outside you will be greeted by a large lawned area, fit with furniture and views of the farmlands, there’s no better place to start your day for an alfresco-style breakfast. On your doorstep you can find spectacular Jurassic Coast scenery, including the National Trust's Golden Cap and the bustling market town of Bridport. Slightly further afield are the seaside town of West Bay, backdrop to TV's Broadchurch, and Lyme Regis home to the iconic cob, where budding fossil hunters may hone their craft and search for ammonites on the pebble beach. West Perry Hay is the ideal farmhouse for a group looking to explore the coast of Dorset.
The village of Chideock is between Bridport and Honiton, in West Dorset. Within an aonb, the area has walks, whilst 2 miles away is the Jurassic Coast, with stunning Golden Cap, the sandstone cliff. A short drive takes you to Bridport, and the harbour at West Bay, or venture west to visit the seaside resort of Lyme Regis. A holiday base from which to explore the area.
