On the edge of town, visit Athelhampton House & Gardens (5.5 miles), a magnificent Grade I-listed estate with stunning grounds to explore and beautiful scenery all around. Another striking landmark in the local landscape is the Osmington White Horse (4.5 miles), best admired while walking through rural Dorset. A little further afield, discover the beautiful beach at Bowleaze Cove (6.5 miles), one of the many destinations along the Jurassic Coast, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that follows the rugged South West Coast Path.
