A first floor self-contained eaves apartment, above the owner's property, in the small village of Over Compton, just 3 miles from both Yeovil and Sherborne on the border of Dorset and Somerset. Comfortably furnished throughout this holiday apartment near Sherborne offers couples and small family groups an idyllic rural holiday base. It benefits from two bedrooms, including a double with en-suite facilities as well as a decked balcony offering lovely views across the nearby paddocks, a super place to sit and relax after your busy day out. There are lovely walks in the countryside surrounding the holiday apartment, whilst the nearby historic town of Sherborne is a great place to explore with its castle, ancient abbey and numerous fascinating local shops, plus a wide choice of inns and restaurants.

The hosts are welcoming and the accommodation is spacious and well equipped. The balcony is great for sunny days. Everything was clean and tidy and the bed was comfortable with nice bedding, although the actual duvet and pillows could do with replacing as there is some staining on them. The shower in the en-suite is compact, but is very efficient. There are pleasant walks in the area too. We look forward to returning.

Very friendly hosts⦠comfortable spacious accommodation with views that are stunning from the main bedroom balcony /patio. How amazing to have wildlife to study including horses,guinea fowl,geese,chattering crows who occupy the tree in our view.. of which all mix together in synergy. Lots of trips during our stay to the coastâ¦Sherborne castle/house. Sherborne town which had amazing architecture and is delightful as well as great shops very friendly environment. Also took in the delights of Shaftesbury gold hill pure beauty and bliss. Looking forward to returning in the future!.
