A lovely peaceful location in a great setting in a very clean and well equipped house, great friendly hosts; It was a very hot week and great to sit on the veranda mornings and evenings watching the wildlife. We have already recommended Willow lodge to friends.Our only small mention would be for insect/fly screens or curtains on the other windows, yes it is the countryside but on hot weeks to get cool with the doors and windows open, there were far too many buzzing around you at night time to sleep well.

A wonderfully relaxing place to spend a short break. Close to nature and interesting places to visit locally. All very clean and well equipped. Enjoyed breakfast and early evening drinks outside on the decking.

We had a very enjoyable week exploring Dorset, using Willow Lodge as our base. The accommodation was presented to a very high standard and met all our needs. It was delightful to relax and watch the wildlife on the adjacent pond after a day exploring the local sights.The only slight issue was the uneven track leading to the property. This had to be navigated with great care to avoid the underside of the car touching the ground.Other than that, an excellent place to stay; many thanks to our hosts, Sarah & Robin.
