Only 5.5 miles from the bustling town of Sherborne, there is plenty to explore including the romantic castle ruins and 'new' castle. The honey coloured streets are home to a historic abbey as well as numerous shops, pubs, cafes and artisan boutiques. Those wishing to explore the countryside will find many walking routes from the village which weave through this unspoilt landscape, or you can head off in the car to visit Haynes Motor Museum or Wincanton Racecourse, both within 5 miles. Glastonbury, the cathedral city of Wells, Montacute House and Gardens, Stourhead Estate and Gardens, and Cerne Abbas are all within 15 miles. Guests are welcome to explore the owners grounds and landscaped gardens which can be accessed from the property. To the front of the property is an off road parking space for one car.
