Perivale Lodge is set in the beautiful location of the Forest of Dean and is close to The Dean Steam Railway Station where you can purchase a day ticket to take you all over this area. It is situated in glorious countryside, making it a perfect get-away for all the family. The property has been renovated to a very good standard, offering well equipped and comfortably furnished holiday accommodation. It also benefits from the use of a fire pit, perfect for family and friends to enjoy an evening around.
The grounds have access to some amazing walks and the enclosed 2-acre field is perfect for letting the dogs off their leads. There are open ponds and steep slopes all round, so children must be supervised at all times. The property boasts a downstairs entrance way designed for bringing the dogs into, after washing them off outside with the warm water hose, and is also suitable for hanging coats and leaving boots.

Perivale lodge is a paradise for dogs and their two legged friends. So much to explore within the grounds including a stream, woodland and paddock. We also enjoyed direct access to the forest of dean. No need to get back in the car until leaving. The boot room is large and accommodation spotless and nice and warm in the cold weather. Outside there is a dog washing station with running warm water. I think it is about our fifth stay and will be booking again. It is somewhere you don't want to leave. Hosts very helpful, friendly and extremely accomodating. Would I recommend , absolutely. Hayley, Elfed and Mr Flynn, our Irish setter

We had a fantastic stay at Perivale Lodge. The lodge itself was beautiful, comfortable, and really well kept, with everything we needed for a relaxing break.The garden was a real highlight. Spacious, peaceful, and absolutely stunning, with a lovely stream running through it. The enclosed dog field was a huge bonus and made the stay even more enjoyable and stress-free.The location is ideal too. Lydney town is just down the road, so it’s easy to pop out for shops, food, or exploring the local area, while still feeling tucked away and private.Overall, a brilliant place to stay and somewhere we’d happily return to. Highly recommended.

Stayed at the lodge for a lovely Xmas family get together. Host was very accommodating supplying extra pots and pans for Xmas dinner and allowing access to freezer earlier. Great facilities for both dogs, young children and all ages. Lovely hamper, decorations and even some games to play. Plenty of towels too. Great price. Even a slow cooker provided making easy self catering meals a must. Very impressed will highly recommend to friends and family. Thank you for a fantastic stay.
