This wonderful holiday property (adjoining the owner’s home) is situated within 20 acres of the owner’s grounds, and occupies half a converted barn, sitting high on a hillside with fabulous views over the Vale of Usk. The Forest of Dean and Symonds Yat make fabulous days out. Monmouth, Chepstow and Ross on Wye all close by. Shops 7 miles, restaurant and pubs 1 mile.

Holiday was great. Enjoyed our stay, but the very narrow road leading to the property was not good. No passing places so if you met another car what a nightmare. Only down bit of the holiday. Views were magnificent.

Very good cottage with views to die for. Local pub excellent but only open Thursday to Sunday. The pub is a mile away and is the only building you can see for miles. The only draw back to the cottage was the access road which was narrow, steep and rough in places. The cottage is well positioned to visit Usk, Chepstow and Monmouth areas.

We had a wonderful week at the Haybarn. It was lovely as our Son, Daughter and Son in Law were able to join us. Having the three bedrooms and bathrooms meant we all had our own space. The communal lounge, kitchen and dining area were perfect for us to gather and be together whilst cooking, eating and relaxing. The setting was perfect. The views from the property were stunning. Waking each morning to see more new born lambs in the field was thrilling. So many lovely places to visit only a short car drive away. We visited so many wonderful castles each with great information boards and interactive screens so we could learn about life etc The Haybarn was so well equipped with everything we could possibly need. We certainly intend to have a return visit.
