A beautiful spacious ground floor apartment in a grade II listed Georgian property with a large garden. The apartment is situated in the heart of the lovely village of Newnham close to the banks of the River Severn and is totally self contained with its own separate entrance.. 2 steps to entrance.

Bank House Apartment is a great base for exploring the surrounding countryside, the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire, Monmouthshire and Worcestershire. Located on Newnham High Street right next to the historic clock tower, there are some quaint little shops and two pubs in the village. The River Severn is only a stone’s throw away from the apartment and is one of the best places to experience the famous Severn Bore.
For those looking for an adventure, Bank House Apartment has easy access to the Forest Adventure Outdoor Centre, Puzzlewood, Clearwood Caves and the Soldiers of Gloucestershire Museum. Alternatively, visit the English Heritage’s Goodrich Castle, National Trust’s Round House and Naval Temple, and Norchard Railway Station Museum on the Dean Forest Railway. Monmouth, with its castle, wide high street and good range of shops, and Chepstow Castle, are well worth a visit. There are also walks, golf and mountain biking opportunities available nearby.

The master bedroom has a king-sized bed and a z-bed bed for a child when required, and the large patio has garden furniture and access to the owner’s large enclosed lawned garden, which is dog-friendly. What a place to stay! The photos do not do this apartment justice. The place is huge! Shame it is only one bedroom as there is enough room elsewhere to host 20 people. It is immaculate and a credit to the hosts. We have stayed in a quite few apartments over the years and this one is the best.There was a very nice welcome pack including wine, cider, water, biscuits etc. We had use of the whole garden and is very dog friendly/safe. The location is excellent with a few local pubs. You must try a curry at The Railway Inn, superb.

A very spacious and well equipped apartment in Newnham with easy on street parking. A welcome basket was provided on arrival which was a lovely addition and very friendly hosts who were extremely helpful and informative. The apartment was thoughtfully furnished throughout and extremely comfortable, hot water and heating if needed were supplied with no issues. The enclosed garden was beautiful and also provided outside seating to relax on. The area itself was lovely, some beautiful walks nearby and very scenic. I would definitely recommend this apartment.
