Nearby Tintern Abbey is an awe-inspiring ruin nestled in the Wye Valley. here are also local vineyards, farm shops, and country pubs serving hearty food and regional ales. The property was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Little touches such as treats and blankets for the dogs and treats for the grown ups too. There Forest of Dean has so many places to explore which are within 15 -20 mins of the property. HIPS micro brewery and tap room is a little gem only 5 minutes from the property. We didn’t get to make the most of the outdoor space due to the weather but this couldn’t be helped.

We enjoyed our stay, the accommodation was clean, warm and comfortable and the view was fabulous but we found the route off the main road tricky.
