Accommodation had everything we needed and equipment was very clean. There is actually a fence in front of the property which is not shown on the photographs but we were able to walk the dog on a field across the way. It’s a very peaceful location but accessible to local amenities by car. To visit the places we wanted to see they were an hour away. Plenty of walks locally. There was only two of us plus one dog but it would comfortably suit four people.

We had a good week at the Old Dairy. The gravelled courtyard was smaller than expected, but the owners had a paddock leading to footpaths/ fields. The local recreation ground was just a few minutes walk away & it was great to chat to the neighbours there.The cottage itself was comfortable but had poor overhead lighting.It would benefit from at least one, maybe 2 reading lamps. We are avid bookworms, especially when on holiday.The local area is rich in experiences & everything was a relatively short drive away.We especially enjoyed Slimbridge & Peter Scott's house which is now a museum.
