Set in the rolling South Hams countryside, this delightful, holiday property is within easy reach of beautiful beaches and wonderful walking on Dartmoor and the South West Coast Path. Families can enjoy Pennywell Farm, the South Devon Railway and Bovisand Beach. Excellent sailing at Noss Mayo. Plymouth with shops, Barbican, aquarium and Plymouth Hoe, is 7 miles. The friendly owners live in the adjoining 17th century farmhouse and run a little plant nursery on site; there are always fabulous flower displays. Shop and pub 1 mile.

Excellent place to stay and to make plans for local travel.Wi-fi a bit hit and miss. Garden centre that they own is very reasonably priced.Mrs West is very helpful if you need anything, but also leaves you alone to enjoy your holiday.

A beautiful country cottage for our family holiday. Perfect for two parents and two teens. The owner was very welcoming. The cottage was lovely, it had all we needed.

Attractive inside and out, and very comfortable, the cottage does have lots of stairsWe drove often to Mount Batten and used the half hourly ferry service to Plymouth Barbican and then took either another boat or the open-topped bus to get around without the hassle of parking in town
