Gather with your loved ones for a hot brew and later in the evening enjoy a competitive board game at the dining table after dinner. You can whip up a tasty breakfast for everyone in the well-appointed kitchen before heading out to see the local sights. On your return from your adventures, you have the king-size bedroom to catch your rest, finished to a charming standard with bedside tables and wardrobes. In front of the cottage is the mill building with a path that leads to wonderful mile long walks through the Dorset fields and woods. There is also a river that runs behind Sunny Dell Cottage, which is home otters and salmon amongst other wonderful wildlife. If you can tear yourself away from this charming property, Lyme Regis is only a few miles away where "The French Lieutenant's Woman" was made, and to the south is the lovely town of Bridport, home of sailmakers. The market town of Crewkerne can be reached in a short drive, with a selection of independent shops, a museum and inns serving good food and local cider. Two wonderful pubs are within a mile or so from Sunny Dell Cottage, The Squirrel and The Royal Oak, as well as excellent takeaways to choose from. Sunny Dell Cottage greets you with warmth and its old world charm embraces you. The charming market town of Crewkerne rests in South Somerset, an ideal base for touring the idyllic countryside and Jurassic coastline. The town offers a beautiful selection of Georgian buildings, antique shops, a museum and inns serving good food and local Somerset cider. Within the surrounding area there are a number of attractions including Barrington Court, Forde Abbey, Montacute House, Ham Hill and local working cider mills.
