My wife and i, along with pippa the jack russell had a wonderful time at long barn. We would recommend it to anyone. The hosts, john and caroline, are lovely and very welcoming and helpful. The cottage is clean and well equipped, with the most comfy bed we have ever had in a holiday cottage. The outside areas are well maintained and perfect and safe for dogs, as they would be for kids. The local town of Langport has all ammeneties you could need, including tesco and a fuel station.All in all a fantastic location and lovely cottage for a relaxing holiday.

The Long Barn was perfect for us very comfortable with equipment that worked without needing the instruction book to get it going. The site was set up to accept dogs at no extra charge, with a huge enclosed field for recreation it made life very easy.John and Caroline were very helpfull ensuring that we had all the information required to find the cottage, even sending a map so we could avoid the flooded roads.We have not spent much time in Somerset, tend to bypass it on the way to somewere else, we realise now thats a bit of a mistake as it has a lot to offer particularly for those who like the great outdoors.I am sure we will be back to Long Barn, hopefully no storm Chandra to greet us next time.
