Recently renovated to a beautiful standard, this attractive ground-floor cottage provides an idyllic escape to Somerset for a family or group of four. Step inside the charming hallway and take off your coat and shoes, before heading through to the open-plan living space where you will discover a magnificent oak kitchen, kitted-out with a sleek electric range cooker and beautiful Belfast sink with decorative mosaic tiles. Wander over to the dining space and take a seat at the table with friends, so that you can begin to map out your plans for the action-packed week that lies ahead.
Retire to the stylish sofa, or open up the patio doors leading out into the spacious enclosed garden as you bask in the sunshine on a warm summer's day. Kitchen had everything we needed. Plenty of room in the lounge area. Great garden, and fields the dogs can run around in. We will hopefully come back next year.

2 Big bedrooms. We two and our two dogs felt very welcome. Enclosed dog safe garden is designed to encourage wildlife with mown paths between medow grass and fruit trees. There is a large rough grass field through bottom gate where owners are happy to have dogs run. Log burner + underfloor heating makes it cosy and warm and its realy quiet. There is a freezer in outdoor workshop. No dishwasher. Plenty of cooking equipment, pots pans, bowls, baking trays and collander but no scales but owners live next door and were very helpful providing anything we didn't have. Bedding was very clean and very pretty. Feather pillows and a sprung mattress. This is a fantastic area to visit for a retreat or busy days out. This building was a true labour of love by the owners who restored it from a cow byer, find the book in the property and take a look at its progress. It's fascinating. Highly recommended.
