On our arrival we were met by the owner John who made us very welcome, the Tack Room was spacious and well laid out it had everything we needed for our stay. The bed was very comfortable as was the pillows more than enough storage space for all your clothes excellent. it was nice that the outside was fenced in so our Charlie dog could go out without us having to keep an eye on him, there was a paddock to walk around so Charlie could get some exercise. Thank you for the dog treats and the biscuits which was a lovely thought, I would definitely recommend staying here at The Tack Room

The Tack Room is such a wonderful place to stay, whether you're looking for a weekend away, or even longer. We stayed a week and honestly couldn't have been happier. John & Caroline were excellent hosts, and everything was exactly as described in the listing. The dog-friendly aspect was a huge bonus for us too, and the enclosed field at the property is the perfect space to let your dog have a good run around and posibly socialise with other guests. We look forward to visiting again if we are in the area, and urge others to do so too!

We loved staying in The Tack Room and enjoyed being back at Thorney Cottages. It is excellent accommodation and extremely dog friendly. The owners are wonderful and very helpful and welcoming. The Tack Room is cosy, comfortable and atmospheric. Immaculate inside and very well equipped. A great base for simple, peaceful relaxation or exploring beautiful Somerset or further afield. Highly recommend.
