⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐We absolutely loved our stay at the Bakehouse. It’s a beautifully crafted and incredibly inspiring cottage, with so much thought and creativity in the design. Every time you look around, you spot another detail you hadn’t noticed before. The hosts are exceptionally hospitable and have thought of everything. The welcome basket was quite honestly the best we’ve ever received — generous, thoughtful and full of lovely touches that made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. And for dog owners, this really is a cottage where dogs are genuinely welcome. Our dog even had his own gift bag! The secure garden was fantastic and made things so easy and relaxing. The location is brilliant too. Southwold is very easy to reach, including by bus, and the Bakehouse makes a great base for exploring Suffolk. We had wonderful days out to Framlingham, Orford, Thorpeness, Aldeburgh and Sutton Hoo.We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Beautiful, comfortable, full of character and with hosts who clearly take great pride in making their guests feel welcome. We would happily return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the Bakehouse.
