Winsford Cottage is part of a complex of charming country cottages in a beautiful setting of the Avill Valley between Dunster and Timberscombe, within the Exmoor National Park. This property is well-suited to families having two bedrooms, one with double bed and one twin bedroom.
Accommodation
Entering from the south, straight ahead of you is a corridor leading to the double bedroom. On your right is the bathroom (with bath with shower over, toilet and hand basin) and then the twin bedroom. Opposite the twin bedroom is a second toilet with hand basin. On the left is the staircase that leads up to the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner on the first floor, which is light and airy. There is a large 'picture window' which gives superb views across the fields and the valley.
Bed linen is provided, towels can be hired for £3 per person.

Access to our particular room was a little awkward and the noise of the road took the shine off a touch. However, the facilities were very good on the site and the accomodation was of a decent size.

Facilities were brilliant for a family with two small dogs - clean, well cared for and easily accessible. Accommodation was comfortable and very well equipped but may benefit from a bit of updating - furnishings were rather tired. Owners were friendly and helpful but not intrusive. Dunster is a .... Ideal location - Bonus to have a swimming pool on site after being out all day it was lovely to have a relaxing swim. Field on site as well so dont have to go far first thing in mornoing with the dogs.
