Occupying one of the prime first floor positions at The Cove, one of Brixham's most highly desirable developments overlooking Fishcombe Cove, this beautiful apartment is a firm favourite for couples and families seeking modern, desirable accommodation within walking distance of the beach and the town's amenities. If you are looking for self-catering holiday home that ticks all the boxes then look no further - Bayview will not disappoint! Climb the steps to modern timber balcony and patio doors that lead you into this lovely bright and airy apartment. Open plan and furnished in a coastal theme, patio doors span the full width of the living space, furnished with two attractive sofas where you can catch up on any missed TV shows with a Smart wall mounted TV with Netflix.
A dining table allows you to perch whilst the cook prepares dinner in the well fitted kitchen, to the rear of the room. There are two tasteful bedrooms the master bedroom with patio doors also leading to the balcony and a modern family bathroom. What makes this apartment such a winner is the super oversized timber decked balcony that faces directly over the woodland opposite and out over the sea towards Torbay. Furnished with attractive rattan style furniture and a barbecue, you will be hard pushed to find a more serene spot to watch the yachts as the bob out in the bay.
The gated and secure grounds of The Cove are immaculately presented with picnic spots and benches to allow guests to linger and enjoy the fabulous views. Between May and September guest can enjoy the use of the open air heated swimming pool and a pathway leads directly down to the Fishcombe Cove beach below, where you can stop for morning coffee at the beach café, or go for an early morning dip. Picturesque and sheltered Fishcombe Cove is a popular spot for bathing and kayaking as it the nearby Churston just a 5 minute walk through the woods immediately behind the development.
A short walk through Battery Gardens will take you to the bustling fishing town of Brixham where you will find an array of restaurants and cafes around the harbour to suit all tastes. Hop aboard the Western Lady Ferry that will take you across the bay to Torbay a delightful and stress-free way to view this lovely coastline, or enjoy a walk to Berry Head a haven for wildlife where from the top you may get to see the porpoises that dwell in the ocean below. Brixham is a working fishing harbour located on the southern side of Torbay, the area known as The English Riviera. The prettiest part of Brixham has small cottages in hilly narrow winding lanes leading to the harbour Home to Britain’s largest fishing fleet which regularly lands their catch in the harbour, Brixham fish market sells to major restaurants in the UK. Brixham is the ideal destination for a traditional holiday with many family attractions.

Nicely furnished, clean and excellent location..Will return and also recommend. A few points that impacted our week there was that the smart TV on the wall in the lounge stopped working after a few days, we contacted Pauline the cleaner who was the property contact who was amazing in trying her best to help by lending us a temporary basic TV because she was unable to gain a direct reply from the owner. Unfortunately the weather was not dry so missing out on being able to have a cosy relaxing time watching films on Netflix/Prime was not an option. We also found both sofas very unsupportive and low which made them uncomfortable for long term sitting. Possibly just a personal preference but it did impact our enjoyment of the property a little bit. If the weather had been kinder then the impact of these two things would obviously have been less. None of this should detract from the overall quality and location of Bayview/Sandpiper 4 and Pauline was lovely and as helpful as she could be. Easier contact with the owner to get any issues sorted/authorised quickly would be welcomed if possible in future, but highly rated this accommodation as this is the second time we have stayed there.

We didnât need to move our car as it was a 10 minute walk along the coast to Brixham. Bayview was clean, warm, comfortable and well equipped with a beautiful view. To lay in bed and watch the Gannets diving into the sea, then to walk to Brixham and see lots of seals was a joy. We are planning our next visit.

Bayview was a great base to walk into the town and harbour. The apartment was one of the most cleanest holiday places we have stayed in this country. Only down side was mattress was very hard, but it hasn't stopped us booking for next year already.
